First, one night in Port Blair
Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Bay Island, Port Blair
Welcomhotel Bay Island is a Charles Correa-designed 5-star hotel on Marine Hill, Port Blair, with harbour views, a spa, and two dining venues.

About This Journey
Three nights, and almost nothing on the schedule beyond two of the Andamans' best stretches of sand. You open in Port Blair with the Cellular Jail's Light and Sound Show, then cross to Havelock the next morning for Radhanagar Beach, and close with a day at Elephant Beach's shallow, close-in reef.
This is the shortest way to get a real taste of the islands without a long, multi-stop circuit — a good add-on to a longer India trip, or a short break in its own right.
A full day is kept for Radhanagar, the west-facing beach most visitors come to the Andamans for, rather than a brief stop en route to somewhere else.
The reef here starts close to shore in shallow water, an easy last stop before departure — no deep dive required to see coral and fish.
Chapter Two — Where You'll Stay
Handpicked along your own route — not a hotel chain repeated city to city.

First, one night in Port Blair
Welcomhotel Bay Island is a Charles Correa-designed 5-star hotel on Marine Hill, Port Blair, with harbour views, a spa, and two dining venues.

Finally, 2 nights in Havelock Island
Taj Exotica Resort & Spa sits on Radhanagar Beach, Havelock Island, with 72 pool and garden villas set in 46.5 acres of forest.
Chapter Three — Day by Day
2 of your 4days — the full itinerary follows below. Scroll to travel the route.

Day 2 · Port Blair → Havelock Island
A private ferry crossing to Havelock Island, officially renamed Swaraj Dweep. The trip takes around ninety minutes across open water. Most visitors still use the old name. Check in by early afternoon. The rest of the day is free to settle into the island's slower pace before tomorrow's beach and reef days.

Day 3 · Havelock Island
A full day at Radhanagar Beach, on Havelock's western shore. Time magazine named it Asia's best beach in 2004, and it has kept its Blue Flag certification for cleanliness and safety since. The sand runs pale and fine, backed by dense island forest that stays green right down to the shoreline. Late afternoon is the best time to be here, as the light turns gold before sunset over the water.
Also On This Trip — Inter-Island Ferry
A high-speed catamaran connects the islands on this route, with reserved seating booked as part of your trip.

Port Blair → Havelock Island · Makruzz
Makruzz has run high-speed catamaran ferries through the Andamans since 2009 — the largest such fleet in the islands, with three vessels covering more than ten daily connections between Port Blair, Havelock, and Neil Island. The Port Blair to Havelock crossing takes roughly ninety minutes to two and a half hours depending on the vessel and sea conditions, covering open water between Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair's official name since 2023) and Swaraj Dweep, as Havelock Island is now officially known. Air-conditioned cabins, assigned seating, and an onboard snack counter make the crossing comfortable rather than a logistics chore — for most travellers, this ferry is the only way to reach Havelock's beaches at all.
Chapter Four — The Full Itinerary
Every day, start to finish — including the transfers the day-by-day chapter above skipped.

Port Blair
Private airport pickup on arrival in Port Blair, the Andaman Islands' capital. The afternoon centres on Cellular Jail. It was built between 1896 and 1906 to hold India's freedom fighters in solitary cells. It's known as Kala Pani, or black water. Today it stands as a national memorial. Evening brings the jail's Light and Sound show, telling that history after dark. Then it's off to your hotel for the night.

Havelock Island
A boat ride to Elephant Beach, reachable only by water — there's no road in. The reef just offshore is one of the healthiest in the Andamans, with clear, shallow water that suits first-time snorkellers as well as certified divers. Boat operators provide snorkeling gear as part of the trip. The afternoon is left free for the beach itself, generally quieter than Radhanagar.

It is enough for a real, unrushed taste — Port Blair and Havelock's two headline beaches. For a fuller trip across all three main islands, the Island Hopper or Grand Island Circuit itineraries add Neil Island.
