Andaman & Nicobar · 4 Days

Andaman Beach Escape

Four days between Port Blair's Cellular Jail and Havelock Island's Radhanagar and Elephant Beaches.

Day by Day

4 Days, In Full

Four days across the Andamans' two most visited islands. Port Blair opens the trip with Cellular Jail. It's the colonial prison turned national memorial, with an evening Light and Sound show. A private ferry then crosses to Havelock Island for two full days. Radhanagar Beach was once named Asia's best by Time magazine. Elephant Beach adds a reef for snorkeling and diving. No fixed group schedule — just a private guide and boat transfers throughout.

Arrival in Port Blair — Cellular Jail & Light and Sound Show

Private airport pickup on arrival in Port Blair, the Andaman Islands' capital. The afternoon centres on Cellular Jail. It was built between 1896 and 1906 to hold India's freedom fighters in solitary cells. It's known as Kala Pani, or black water. Today it stands as a national memorial. Evening brings the jail's Light and Sound show, telling that history after dark. Then it's off to your hotel for the night.

Port Blair to Havelock Island — Ferry Crossing

A private ferry crossing to Havelock Island, officially renamed Swaraj Dweep. The trip takes around ninety minutes across open water. Most visitors still use the old name. Check in by early afternoon. The rest of the day is free to settle into the island's slower pace before tomorrow's beach and reef days.

Radhanagar Beach — Once Named Asia's Best

A full day at Radhanagar Beach, on Havelock's western shore. Time magazine named it Asia's best beach in 2004, and it has kept its Blue Flag certification for cleanliness and safety since. The sand runs pale and fine, backed by dense island forest that stays green right down to the shoreline. Late afternoon is the best time to be here, as the light turns gold before sunset over the water.

Elephant Beach — Snorkeling & Reef Diving

A boat ride to Elephant Beach, reachable only by water — there's no road in. The reef just offshore is one of the healthiest in the Andamans, with clear, shallow water that suits first-time snorkellers as well as certified divers. Boat operators provide snorkeling gear as part of the trip. The afternoon is left free for the beach itself, generally quieter than Radhanagar.
