First, 4 nights in Havelock Island
SeaShell Havelock
SeaShell Havelock is a TripAdvisor-rated top beach resort on Govind Nagar Beach, with cottages, bungalows, a dive shop, and three dining venues.

About This Journey
Five nights split between Havelock's water and Neil Island's quiet, built around exactly the pattern a good dive trip needs. You transfer straight to Havelock on arrival, ease in with a day at Radhanagar Beach, then Elephant Beach's reef, before a full scuba day at sites like Nemo Reef and The Wall, the kind of names that come up once you are actually diving here.
From there, a ferry to Neil Island brings the Natural Bridge and Bharatpur Beach, a natural rest after the dive day and before your flight home. It is the middle-length version of the Havelock Dive Retreat: enough time to dive properly without a full week away.
These are two of Havelock's known dive sites, Nemo Reef for its colourful, accessible marine life and The Wall for divers who want more depth and structure.
A snorkel at Elephant Beach's close-in reef the day before diving is a good way to settle in, especially for first-time divers deciding whether to go further.
The Natural Bridge and calm Bharatpur Beach on Neil Island give the body a break after diving, and line up with the standard advice to leave a buffer before flying.
Chapter Two — Where You'll Stay

Chapter Three — Day by Day
4 of your 6days — the full itinerary follows below. Scroll to travel the route.

Day 2 · Havelock Island
A full day at Radhanagar Beach, on Havelock's western shore. Time magazine named it Asia's best beach in 2004, and it has kept its Blue Flag certification for cleanliness and safety since. The sand runs pale and fine, backed by dense island forest that stays green right down to the shoreline. Late afternoon is the best time to be here, as the light turns gold before sunset over the water.

Day 3 · Havelock Island
A boat ride to Elephant Beach, reachable only by water — there's no road in. The reef just offshore is one of the healthiest in the Andamans, with clear, shallow water that suits first-time snorkellers as well as certified divers. Boat operators provide snorkeling gear as part of the trip. The afternoon is left free for the beach itself, generally quieter than Radhanagar.

Day 4 · Havelock Island
Havelock Island is the Andamans' main PADI diving hub, and this day is built around it. Dive sites here include Nemo Reef, Tribe Gate, The Wall, and Dixon Pinnacle, each with its own reef structure and marine life. A private dive operator handles equipment and briefing, with options for certified divers and first-timers doing an introductory dive. Two dives is the typical day, with a surface break between them. Non-divers can snorkel the same waters from the boat instead.

Day 5 · Havelock Island → Neil Island
A short ferry hop south to Neil Island, renamed Shaheed Dweep in 2018 in honour of India's freedom fighters, taking about an hour. It's the smallest and quietest of the three main islands on this route. Check in by midday, leaving the afternoon free to reach Laxmanpur Beach in time for sunset.
Also On This Trip — Inter-Island Ferry
A high-speed catamaran connects the islands on this route, with reserved seating booked as part of your trip.

Port Blair → Havelock Island · Makruzz
Makruzz has run high-speed catamaran ferries through the Andamans since 2009 — the largest such fleet in the islands, with three vessels covering more than ten daily connections between Port Blair, Havelock, and Neil Island. The Port Blair to Havelock crossing takes roughly ninety minutes to two and a half hours depending on the vessel and sea conditions, covering open water between Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair's official name since 2023) and Swaraj Dweep, as Havelock Island is now officially known. Air-conditioned cabins, assigned seating, and an onboard snack counter make the crossing comfortable rather than a logistics chore — for most travellers, this ferry is the only way to reach Havelock's beaches at all.

Havelock Island → Neil Island · Makruzz
The shortest of the Andamans' inter-island crossings, Makruzz's Havelock to Neil Island route takes roughly an hour across calm, sheltered water — a gentler ride than the open-sea Port Blair leg. Neil Island, renamed Shaheed Dweep in 2018, sees far fewer visitors than Havelock, and this ferry is the only practical way in for travellers extending a trip beyond Radhanagar Beach. The same high-speed catamaran fleet and air-conditioned cabin seating carry over from the Port Blair route.
Chapter Four — The Full Itinerary
Every day, start to finish — including the transfers the day-by-day chapter above skipped.

Port Blair → Havelock Island
Private airport pickup on arrival in Port Blair, then straight onto a ferry bound for Havelock Island. This route skips Cellular Jail and the city's other sights, trading them for more time on the water. The crossing takes around ninety minutes by fast ferry. By afternoon you're checked into your Havelock resort, with the rest of the day free to settle in or walk the beach. No fixed schedule — just an early start and a fast finish to Port Blair's arrival formalities.

Neil Island
Morning at the Natural Bridge, a limestone rock arch carved by the sea, also known locally as Howrah Bridge. It's best seen at low tide, when the surrounding rock pools are exposed. Bharatpur Beach fills the rest of the day — shallow, calm water that makes it one of the easiest beaches on the islands for swimming. Neil Island has no real nightlife, which is exactly the point after the busier stops earlier in the trip.
